SS Communications PLC(SSC) is an organization which leads the way in introducing International Payment Cards acquiring and Card Payment Services to Ethiopia, and providing expert-level banking services within the Ethiopian banking sector. With fourteen (14) years of history and experience, SSC was formed on the principle of modernizing the local banking sector by introducing cutting-edge banking technology and related services. In accomplishing the above SSC has been partnering with blue chip multinationals promoting state of the art banking products. We are proud to design, develop and implement secure EMV compliant POS application in the most current VeriFone VX range of terminals from scratch using 100% local Ethiopian engineering resources. We are not only proud in the achievement of this rather complex software development from scratch, but also in the fact that this monumental milestone was made possible with us using local engineers (Ethiopian) and being the second country in Sub-Saharan Africa after South Africa.
